Video upload and Script Generation

Video upload and Script Generation

Once you upload your video to VideoMule, the real magic begins. Your silent screen recording gets analyzed, and a voiceover script is automatically generated. Here's what happens and what you'll see along the way.

Waiting for Generation

This is the most time consuming part of the process. It typically takes 5-10 mins per video.

If the process is taking longer than expected, you'll see a message asking if you want to keep waiting or come back later.

Once processing is completed, you'll see your full outline with all the script segments ready for review.

Understanding the Process

How Video Analysis Works

After your video finishes uploading, VideoMule starts analyzing it. The system watches every action on screen.

One thing to keep in mind is that the video title you entered matters. It gets used to help the AI understand the context of what you're showing.

Understanding the Outline

The first thing you'll see after analysis is an outline (on the left pane).

This breaks your video into multiple steps or parts.

Understanding Script Segments

Inside each step, you'll find script segments. These are the actual lines of voiceover text that will be spoken during your video.

Each segment is tied to a specific time range in your video. For example, a segment might cover the action happening from 41 seconds to 46 seconds. During that window, the generated script line will play.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does video analysis take?

It depends on your video length. For a 2 to 3 minute video, the script takes around 3-5 mins to generate. For longer videos, it can take up to 10 mins.

Can I edit the generated script?

Yes. After the script is generated, you can click on any segment and modify the text. There's a save button to keep your changes and a discard option if you want to revert.

Can I leave and come back during generation?

Yes. If processing takes a while, you can choose to check back later. Your project will save and you can return to see the results when they're ready.

Do I need to keep the tab open while it analyzes the video?

No. You can close the tab or work on something else. The analysis happens in the cloud so your results will be ready when you return.

Why is the analysis taking a long time?

Longer videos take more time to finish, since the AI has to process every second of the video and prepare the script.
