Video Upload and Script Generation
VideoMule uses your recording and project settings to prepare an outline and a voiceover script. After uploading, you can check the analysis progress, return to the project later, and review the script before generating voiceover.
Waiting for generation
Wait for the upload to finish before leaving the upload page. During analysis, the Outline screen shows Analyzing Your Video, a progress indicator and an estimated time remaining. The analysis step is labeled Analyzing video, with In Progress and Reviewing your video content beneath it.
Processing time varies. Use the countdown as an estimate rather than a deadline. Choose Back to Projects to return to your project list, then reopen the same project to check its current stage.

Understanding the process
How video analysis works
Your source recording provides the content for the script. Give the video a clear, descriptive title that matches what it demonstrates; the title helps VideoMule understand the context.
The Script Template guides the script's structure and style. How-To Tutorial (In Depth) is a step-by-step guide, while Product Demo / Ad is a feature showcase with a call to action. Choose the template that fits the video you want to make.
In Advanced options, Introduction and Conclusion control the requested opening and closing segments. Transitions offers Steps and Parts. Check the generated outline and narration against your recording to make sure the result fits.
Content analysis and existing audio
Some templates have analysis prerequisites. Follow Original Audio Style is labeled “Only available with Audio Only” in the template picker. If it is disabled, check the analysis requirements before choosing that template.
Understanding the outline
The outline divides your video into sections, such as steps or parts, according to the selected template and project settings. Use these headings to review the sequence alongside the recording.
Understanding script segments
Each section contains script segments: the lines of voiceover text for your video. A segment's time range identifies the action it relates to in the source recording. For example, a range from 41 to 46 seconds points to that part of the recording for review.
The source time range and the estimated time needed to speak a line are separate values. Review the wording as well as the action on screen before generating voiceover.
Review before voiceover: Edit scripts first
When creating the project, open Advanced options and use Edit scripts first to review the AI script before generating voiceover. Once the script is ready, check the section order and correct any wording that does not match the recording.

A script can be ready while its voiceover is pending. In that state, the Script workspace shows Voiceover pending and a Generate Voiceover button. See Reviewing and Editing Your Script for editing instructions, then follow Generating Your Video to continue.
The Script workspace offers Generate Voiceover when narration is pending. The Effects count reflects this project's settings.
Voiceover generation and exporting the finished video are separate steps.
Return to a project and check its status
Open Projects in the same organization and use Search projects to find your video. If it is missing from the list, set the stage selector to All Stages and the status filter to All. To narrow the results, choose Processing, Pending, Completed or Failed, then open the project you want to inspect.
Stage and status describe different things. The stage selector lists Upload, Outline, Script, Audio, Editor and Render. Project badges provide more specific information, including Analyzing Video, Script Ready, Ready to Export and Rendered.
Use the stage selector to narrow the project list. Status is a separate filter.
A Script Ready badge means you can review the script; check the Script workspace for voiceover readiness before continuing.
If processing fails or appears stuck
Return to Projects and check the project's badge. The Failed filter can show Outline Failed or Script Failed. If a script-failed project opens with No script content available, there is no script to review in that view.
Read any message shown for the affected stage. If you cannot continue, use Feedback in the app and describe the failed stage, the message you saw and when it happened. Include enough information to identify the project without sharing sensitive recording content unnecessarily.
An estimate taking longer than expected does not by itself establish that the job failed. Check the current project state before starting another upload or generation attempt.

How long does video analysis take?
Processing time varies. Check the estimate and stage shown in your project; the estimate does not guarantee a completion time.
Can I edit the generated script?
Yes. Use Edit scripts first when creating the project to review the script before voiceover generation. See Reviewing and Editing Your Script for editing instructions.
Can I leave and come back during generation?
Once the project is on its analysis screen, use Back to Projects. Reopen it from Projects to check its state and continue when the script is ready.
Do I need to keep the tab open while it analyzes the video?
You can use Back to Projects to leave the analysis screen and check again later. Wait for the upload to finish before leaving the upload page.
Why is the analysis taking a long time?
The time shown is an estimate. Reopen the project to check its current stage and status. If it reports a failure or you cannot continue, follow the failure guidance above.
