Reviewing and Editing Your Script
Review your script before generating the voiceover. Check that each line describes the right screen action, correct names or wording, and preview the narration alongside your recording.
The script toolbar includes a language selector and a version selector. Check both before editing. A project awaiting narration shows Voiceover pending, with Effects and Generate Voiceover controls. You can also open Change Avatar and the project's voice settings from this workspace.

Script preview player
Use Preview video (for review) to listen to the script while watching the recording. The player moves through the segments so you can check how the narration follows the screen actions.
Each script line has a timestamp range for its associated segment. The workspace also shows a duration beside a line and an Estimated voiceover for this script total. Use these values to judge narration length. Generation effects and later timeline edits can change the finished video's timing, so the estimate is not an exact export duration.
If a line takes longer to speak than its video segment, the preview can pause the video while the narration finishes. Shorten the line if it repeats information or adds detail the viewer does not need at that point.
Preview voice vs. final voice
The preview uses a temporary voice from your computer. This lets you check the wording and timing before generating narration with the project's selected AI voice.
Open Preview Settings to review the preview voice and playback speed. The voices available for preview can depend on your browser and computer. Choose a speed that lets you follow the screen actions while checking the script.

Editing script lines
Open Edit script line text on the line you want to revise. You can correct a product name, clarify an instruction, or add a detail that the generated script missed.
Finish the edit using the controls shown in the line editor. If Save and Discard are displayed, choose Save to keep the revision or Discard to return to the previous text. Check the resulting line before moving away from it.
To leave feedback on a line, open Add a review note for this line. Review notes have their own control; edit the narration text itself when you want to change what the voiceover says.
Keep a copy of the current script before a substantial rewrite. Check the selected version and language as you work. A script version and a saved video timeline are different records, so use the controls for the stage you are editing.
Deleting a line or a step
Use Delete this script line to target one narration line. A step has its own actions menu. Check the scope of the action and any confirmation before proceeding, especially when you intend to remove only a sentence.
Narration and source footage are separate parts of the project. Review the generation effects before deciding how to handle an unwanted narration gap: Skip Silences is a generation option for trimming gaps. Check the resulting timeline before exporting.
Navigating between segments
Use Previous segment and Next segment in the preview player to move through the script. These controls let you revisit a particular instruction without playing the whole recording again. Press Play to review the selected segment in context.
Preview silence skipping and generation effects
Preview playback preferences control how you review the script. If you use a silence-skipping option in Preview Settings, it helps you move past quiet moments during review.
Before generating narration, open Effects beside Generate Voiceover. This menu includes Skip Silences, Slides, and Auto Zoom. The generation Skip Silences option is described as trimming narration gaps.
Effects are applied when you generate the voiceover. The switches shown belong to this example.
Review these generation settings separately from preview playback preferences. After generation, check the timeline around narration gaps and section transitions before exporting the video.
Downloading your script
Use the script download action to keep a copy for offline review or to share with a team member. Open the downloaded file and check that it contains the script version and language you intended to review.
Changing your voice selection
Open the project's voice settings to review the voice used for generated narration. Browse the voices available for the project language and listen to a sample before choosing one.
The voice picker includes Standard and High Quality (2x) quality choices. Review the selected quality and any usage information shown before generating narration.

Favorites help you find voices again. Choose the voice for the project after finding it; marking a favorite and selecting a generation voice are separate actions. For voices from a connected ElevenLabs account, see Bring Your Own ElevenLabs Voice.
A new voice selection does not change an existing exported file. To produce a revised file, complete the applicable narration-generation, editing, and export steps again. Read any regeneration warnings before continuing.

Why does the preview voice sound different from the sample I picked?

Which deletion control should I use?

How should I finish a script edit?

Can I change the voice after exporting a video?
You can work from the script stage to prepare revised narration with a different voice. An existing export stays unchanged; generate and export a revised version to produce a new file. Check the project's current state and any regeneration warnings first.
