The complete reference of VideoMule's hard numbers — per-plan quotas, trial limits, avatar training constraints, quality tier costs, credit packs, add-ons, and file size caps.
This page is the single reference for VideoMule's capabilities and hard limits. All numbers are current at the time of writing.
Platform capabilities
- VideoMule translates videos into 70+ languages (74 at the time of writing).
- The voice library includes 100+ AI voices. Voices are language-specific — a project language can only use voices that support it.
- You can connect your own ElevenLabs account and use your own cloned voices. There is no slot cap on connected custom voices; their generation is billed to your ElevenLabs account.
- All AI avatar clips render at 1080p.
- Paid plans include unlimited free local rendering (in your browser) in addition to the cloud render quota.
- Billing is per organization, not per user. One subscription covers the whole workspace.

Annual billing is available at a discount. Storage is cumulative (not monthly) — deleting old projects frees it up.
Free trial limits
The 7-day free trial runs on the Creator plan with these caps:
- 2 video uploads, each up to 3 minutes long.
- 10 minutes of AI voiceover.
- 1 translation.
- 1 export, always watermarked. Trial exports render in the cloud; local rendering unlocks when the paid plan starts.
- No AI avatars and no avatar training.
- Credit packs cannot be purchased during the trial, and trial caps are absolute — an existing credit pack does not extend them.
AI avatar limits
Training inputs:
- Photo avatars: one photo, JPG, PNG, or WebP, at most 10 MB.
- Digital twin footage: MP4, WebM, or MOV, between 15 seconds and 10 minutes (600 seconds) long, at most 200 MB.
Identity and slots:
- One avatar slot = one person. Extra looks of an already-trained person are free.
- Up to 10 looks per avatar.
- Digital twins require a recorded consent statement from the person in the footage. The consent link is valid for 24 hours and one recording.
- Failed training attempts do not consume a slot.
Generation:
- All avatar clips render at 1080p, on every quality tier.
- Quality tiers burn avatar credits per minute of avatar video: Normal 1x, Standard 3x (the default), High Quality 4x.
- Tier availability depends on the selected avatar look; unsupported tiers fall back to Standard.
- High Quality clips are capped at 3 minutes; longer clips render at Standard (and are billed at 3x).
- Avatar credits come from the plan allowance, credit packs, and the Avatar Minutes Pack add-on. The plan allowance is consumed before pack credits.

One-time purchases. Credits stack with the subscription and do not reset monthly.

Add-ons
Add-ons require an active paid subscription and (except for the avatar slot) apply to the current billing cycle only.

Other limits
- Chrome extension recordings sent to the dashboard: at most 500 MB per recording. The upload counts against video upload minutes like any other upload.
- Each language can be added to a project once, and translating requires the primary language's outline to be completed.
- Only Ready custom avatars and custom voices are selectable in projects.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are avatar credits the same as avatar minutes?
Credits are counted in minutes of generated avatar video multiplied by the quality tier: one minute at Normal costs 1 credit, at Standard 3, at High Quality 4.
What happens when I hit a monthly quota?
The related action is blocked until the quota resets at your next billing cycle — or immediately extended by an add-on or credit pack.
Do plan limits apply per user or per organization?
Per organization. All members share the workspace's quotas.
