Tracking usage and managing billing
When an upload, voiceover, avatar, or export reaches a limit, start with Usage. Each resource has its own meter, so spare upload minutes won't cover an exhausted voiceover allowance. Use Settings → Organization → Billing to compare purchase options and maintain invoice details.
Before you start, sign in and select the organization whose usage or subscription you want to manage. Billing and allowances belong to that organization. If you cannot access its billing controls, ask the person who manages the organization's subscription.
Find the resource that is running low
- Open Usage in the app sidebar.
- Check Current Plan and Next reset at the top.
- Under Resource Usage, find the meter for the action you need to complete.
- Read the used amount, total allowance, and amount left. Check the units as well as the percentage.
- Scroll to Plan Limits to check per-video restrictions alongside the usage allowances.
Example workspace. Values and dates are account-specific. If the plan banner conflicts with Current Plan, or Next reset is in the past, use the troubleshooting guidance below before making a purchase.
| Meter | What to check |
|---|---|
| Video Upload | Uploaded video duration, in minutes. Also check the separate maximum length and file size for an individual upload. |
| Voice-Over Generation | AI voice generation usage, in minutes. Read this independently of uploaded video duration. |
| AI Avatar Credits | Avatar generation usage, in credits. Do not assume one credit always equals one minute of finished avatar video; consult Avatar Quality Tiers. |
| Custom Avatars | Occupied avatar capacity and available slots. These slots are separate from generation credits. |
| Renders | Cloud-render usage. The card also reports Local renders for the period separately and labels them free. |
| Storage | Space occupied, in GB, against the organization's capacity. |
| Scripts & Translations | The combined meter displayed in generations. Use this label when reporting a quota issue to support. |
For example, the screenshot shows 14.868 / 20 credits for AI avatars, with 5.132 credits left. That meter is closer to its limit than voiceover generation. If the next operation needs more avatar credits than remain, compare an avatar top-up or credit pack before choosing an upload boost.
The local-render count is separate from the cloud-render allowance. To see how to choose an export method, read Rendering and Exporting.
Understand what resets
Plan usage allowances renew on their usage cycle. Check Next reset rather than assuming the first day of the calendar month. The plan selector lists usage per month even when the subscription is billed annually; the payment interval and usage period are different things.
Storage and custom-avatar slots are capacity limits. A monthly reset does not empty stored media or create a fresh set of unused avatar slots. If storage is the constraint, buying more generation minutes won't resolve it. Avoid deleting project data solely to test whether the meter changes.
Credit packs are one-time bundles whose unused credits do not reset monthly. Cycle add-ons extend a specific resource for the current cycle; the Custom Avatar Slot add-on is the permanent-slot exception. See Credit Packs for the pack and add-on rules.
Choose a plan, add-on, or credit pack
| Your need | Option to compare | Billing or duration to check |
|---|---|---|
| Higher usage most months, or higher plan capacity | A different subscription plan | Recurring Monthly or Annual billing, renewal price, and included limits. |
| A small shortage in one resource this cycle | The matching add-on | Current-cycle validity and the selected quantity. Confirm the charge terms before payment. |
| A reserve of usage across resources | A One-Time credit pack | One-time bundle price and included resources. Unused pack credits do not reset monthly. |
| More room for custom avatars | Custom Avatar Slot add-on or a plan with more slots | Slot capacity is separate from the credits needed to generate avatar clips. |
Use Plans and Usage Limits for plan context and Capabilities and Limits for the numerical reference. Check the current offer in the app or on Pricing before paying, including any promotional period and later renewal rate.
Review subscription options
- Open Settings, then Billing under Organization.
- In Plan, check the organization's displayed plan and usage summary.
- Select Manage Subscriptions.
- If Upgrade your plan opens, choose Monthly or Annual and compare the available plans. For an annual offer, read the yearly billed total as well as the monthly equivalent.
- When you have chosen a plan, use its Get started button. Review the payment flow's total, renewal terms, and effective date before confirming a change.
For a downgrade or cancellation, begin with Manage Subscriptions too. If it only presents plans to purchase and offers no control for your existing subscription, close it and contact support. Ask support to confirm the requested change, its effective date, and the effect on access and existing usage before proceeding. Opening the selector or closing it does not confirm a cancellation.
Select an add-on and quantity
- Select Buy Add-Ons on Usage or Billing.
- Find the resource you need: Upload Boost, Voiceover Boost, Render Pack, Translation Pack, Avatar Minutes Pack, or Custom Avatar Slot.
- Use + and − on that card to choose a quantity. Check the displayed price after changing it.
- Read the card's units and current-cycle wording. A Translation Pack here is an add-on; the credit-pack bundle is under One-Time in the plan selector.
- Select Buy now only when ready to proceed, and check the final charge and terms before completing payment.
Each card has its own quantity control. Prices shown are examples from the captured catalog; use the current offer when purchasing.
For example, increasing Upload Boost from one unit to two changes the displayed price. Read the per-unit allowance together with that quantity; changing the selector alone does not purchase the add-on. Close the dialog to leave without buying.
Find one-time credit packs
- Open Settings → Organization → Billing → Manage Subscriptions.
- In Upgrade your plan, select One-Time.
- Review the Credit Packs section and the pack currently offered.
- Set Quantity with its minus and plus controls, then review the bundle and price.
- Use Buy now when ready to proceed to the purchase flow. Confirm that the order is for the intended one-time bundle before payment.
The available pack selection can change. This screen shows a purchase offer, not a remaining pack balance.
If you already own a pack and cannot find a separate balance, contact support with the organization and purchase reference before buying another. Do not interpret the plan's left values as proof that a purchased pack is empty. The Credit Packs guide explains how pack allowances relate to subscription usage.
Update billing details and find invoices
On Settings → Organization → Billing, scroll below the plan summary.
To change the recipient, enter the billing email under Email recipient → Email address, then select Save in that section. Billing correspondence goes to this address. Check the saved field before leaving.
To update Billing address, fill in Address line 1, Address line 2 as needed, Country, Postal code, City, and State. Select the address section's Save button. The page states that the address applies to upcoming invoices; past invoices are unaffected.
The Invoices section is below the address form. Invoices are also sent automatically to the billing email. If the section says No invoices received yet, check the billing inbox for the purchase receipt and contact support if you expected an invoice. For a correction to a past invoice, contact support rather than expecting an address edit to rewrite it.
Resolve a usage or billing mismatch
- The plan name differs between screens, or the reset date has passed: confirm the selected organization, reload the page, and compare Usage with Billing. If the mismatch remains, contact support before relying on the displayed reset or buying a top-up.
- An upload fails despite minutes remaining: check the uploader's own file-size message and per-video duration limit. Monthly minutes, individual file size, and video length are separate restrictions.
- Scripts & Translations changes unexpectedly: report the action taken, the before-and-after values, and any error. Avoid assuming every initial script, regeneration, or added language is charged identically.
- A paid purchase does not appear: check the receipt and organization, reload Usage and Billing, and ask support to reconcile the purchase. Avoid purchasing again just to refresh a balance.
- You cannot find downgrade or cancellation controls: use the support route described above and request confirmation of the effective date. A plan-selection screen alone does not establish the status of an existing subscription.
